1964-1992: Alianza con la Glacier Metal Company

Trabajando con glaciar
La alianza Glacier-Pioneer añadió valor a las turbinas solares en San Diego, California.
1989: Convenio de suministro exclusivo con Westinghouse Electric Corp.
En marzo de 1989, Pioneer se convirtió en el proveedor exclusivo de la Unidad de Negocio de Generación de Energía (PGBU) de Westinghouse Electric.


1989: Westinghouse concede una licencia exclusiva de propiedad intelectual para servicios y asistencia.
Con esta licencia, Pioneer se convirtió en la primera empresa norteamericana de cojinetes independiente de un fabricante de equipos originales a la que un OEM de la industria de generación de energía concedía una licencia.
1993: ABB concede una licencia exclusiva para servicios y asistencia.
Tras ganarse la confianza de ABB, en 1993 ABB siguió el ejemplo de Westinghouse y firmó un acuerdo de licencia exclusiva con Pioneer.


2000: Alstom adquiere el negocio de turbinas de energía de ABB y adopta y amplía la licencia.
Tras un intento de 16 meses de colaboración en una empresa conjunta (ABB ALSTOM POWER), Alstom Power adquirió la participación del 50% de ABB.
2005-2017: Alianza con Rolls-Royce Power Engineering
Los contratos formales que constituían la alianza entre Rolls-Royce Power Engineering y Pioneer se firmaron en febrero de 2005.


2017: General Electric adquiere Alstom Power y mantiene la licencia de Pioneer.
A finales de 2017, como parte de su adquisición de Alstom Power, GE respaldó la licencia de Alstom Power concedida a Pioneer y trató de mantener su existencia.
2017: Zollern nombra a Pioneer su licenciatario exclusivo en Norteamérica para soporte técnico
En 2017, la división de tecnología de cojinetes lisos del Grupo Zollern firmó un acuerdo de licencia tecnológica exclusiva con Pioneer.


2014: Inicio de colaboración con Yamato Metal de Japón
En 2014, Yamato Metal se puso en contacto con Pioneer para que le ayudara en su esfuerzo por desarrollar el mercado secundario de rodamientos de babbitt en Japón.
