With the close of 2018, Ray Harrington fully retired from the company and Pioneer’s Board of Directors after years of many accomplishments, serving Pioneer first as a consultant and then as the company’s president and finally during the past 6 months as our consultant again. During his tenure, among many other things, Ray helped Pioneer deepen customer and alliance relationships at home and abroad, enhance a LEAN, customer-centric culture and led the drive for greater transparency in inter-departmental operations and accountability. With his unbounded enthusiasm, optimism and energy, he epitomized a primary characteristic of a good manager: leading by example. We wish the best for Ray and his wife Vicki in this and coming years.
